The delicate, silky pink cups of this wildflower belie its tough and hardy character.  Able to withstand little water and poor soil, Showy Evening Primrose will add easy color to sunny beds and borders from late spring through summer.  Once established, underground runners help it to spread fast. Useful for quick, informal cover in uncultivated areas of the landscape.  Gorgeous as a mass planting where the flowers will move in a wave-like fashion during a gentle breeze. Perfect for dry rock gardens where it will mingle easily with the golden Lance-leaved Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata), Blue-eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium bellum), and lavender Moss Verbena (Verbena tenuisecta).

Available in single packets and as bulk wildflower seeds.
