DESCRIPTION

Cover Crop Mix

A high biomass seed mixture ideal for quick establishment in vineyards and orchards.  In general, this mix should be sown in fall or early winter.  The fibrous roots greatly enhance soil tilth and water penetration while oats take up excess nitrogen improving the growth and nitrogen-fixing ability of the legumes.  The mix can either be disked or mowed with the clippings serving as a moisture-conserving mulch through much of the growing season.

USES
Fall Cover crops used to improve soil health by adding organic matter, aerating soil and fixing Nitrogen in the soil. Provides excellent erosion.
